1. Locate the turn signal flasher in your vehicle.  It is usually mounted
   under the dash, in a fuse panel, on the inside firewall, or under the
   console (motorhome).
   a) MANY VEHICLES HAVE 2 FLASHERS; ONE FOR TURN SIGNALS AND ONE FOR HAZARD.
      IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS ONLY ONE FLASHER, THEN THE FLASHER IS USED IN BOTH
      THE TURN-SIGNAL AND HAZARD MODE.  IF THIS IS THE CASE, WE RECCOMMEND
      THAT YOU USE OUR MODEL 262 TURN-ALARM WHICH CAN HANDLE UP TO 12 LAMPS.  
   b) To locate the TURN SIGNAL flasher, activate the directional  signal
      and listen or feel for a faint click coming from the flasher.
2. Remove the existing turn signal flasher and replace it with the TURN-ALARM.
3. To be compatible with the Model 552 or Model 262 TURN-ALARM,  the flasher
   removed must be a 2 terminal (X,L) or 3 terminal (+,L,-) flasher with 1/4 inch male spade terminals.
   If it is a 2 terminal flasher, it will be round and about 1 and 1/8 inches
   in diameter.  If it is a 3 terminal flasher, it usually is a square unit.

5. If the removed turn-signal flasher does not meet the requirements in     
   3 or 4 above, note the number on the flasher or obtain the P/N of the
   flasher from your vehicle dealer and e-mail or forward that information to
   DAECO.  Also indicate the make, model, and year of the vehicle.
6. If the existing 2 or 3 terminal turn-signal flasher is located outside of
   the driver’s compartment, the TURN-ALARM can be relocated to inside the
   compartment by the use of a 3 ft. extension cable (for flashers with 1/4 in. male spade lugs only) that DAECO can supply
   for an addtitional $3.50 plus $3.95 S&H.  CA residents, please add
